Why I'm standing
I am running because I care deeply about the Whau and the people who call it home. I believe strong local leadership matters, and I want to bring my energy, experience and community focus to the role. I am motivated by service, by a belief in fairness and accessibility, and by a desire to help shape a future where our neighbourhoods thrive and people feel proud to live here.
About me
I will make a good elected representative because I bring nearly two decades of legal experience as a barrister, strong analytical skills and training as a mediator. I have deep roots in the Whau through volunteering in schools, sports and community groups. I believe in fairness, accessibility and collaboration, and I will work hard to ensure all voices are heard, respected and represented with integrity.
My priorities
- Ensure accessibility so seniors, disabled people and all residents can fully participate in the Whau.
- Improve transport, create safer streets and build strong community networks across the Whau.
- Protect libraries and hubs, the beating heart of Whau's community life, learning and belonging.
