Waikouaiti Coast Community Board

The Waikouaiti Coast Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Dunedin City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of six members. This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper.   • Make sure local companies are able to be contracted to do local maintenance on roads, parks and so on.

    Have a youth employment policy and, where possible, offer apprenticeships and youth mentoring.

    Support tourist ventures all over the district, not just certain areas.
