Why I'm standing
I'm driven to serve, helping create a future-ready inclusive city that's affordable for all of us. Looking ahead, I'm focused on community empowerment and ensuring every dollar of public money has clear purpose and value. I'm standing for a more affordable city, streets that work for everyone, effective community services and facilities, a fairer rating system, inclusive communities, a strong local economy and protecting our communities from short-sighted government actions.
About me
As a Green-endorsed city councillor, for three terms I've built a track-record of working with community and council colleagues to help our city become more liveable, vibrant and future-ready. A diligent, capable representative who listens and gets involved, I'm focused on managing the growth pressures we face, responding to the climate crisis, and ensuring basic services are delivered well. A scientist and environmental advocate, my approach is evidence-based and solution-oriented.
My priorities
- Focus on community empowerment including participatory democracy for city budget and key decisions.
- Focus on sustainable transport with streets enabling everyone to have freedom and choice in local journeys.
- Build social capital and a more inclusive community where diversity thrives.
