The Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of seven members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. three members will be elected from your area. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     Advocate for better transport links between South Auckland and job, study and cultural hubs.

    Make roads outside schools safer so tamariki can travel safely and return home to their families every day.

    Fight to protect South Aucklanders and ensure fairness in every transport decision if congestion charges proceed.
