Why I'm standing

I am inspired by the government announcements as conversation is necessary about increasing rate costs and overloaded councils for New Zealand size of seventy-seven regional councils and territorial local authorities.

About me

I believe a new focus is needed, and continuing to do the same gives the same result; change is necessary. If nothing else, I want to provide checks and balances with the long-term plan review to triage plan and actions.

My priorities
  1. Remove barriers that add to economic costs and suppress economic progress.
  2. Work with councils and entice industry through lower cost entry to benefit value return and create more jobs.
  3. Engage Māori but do not allow them to lead, respecting them as first nation people, with the council making decisions.
