Wellington City Council

Pukehīnau/Lambton General Ward
The Wellington City Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of 15 councillors and the mayor. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in the city). three councillors will be elected from the Pukehīnau/Lambton ward. This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. I love Wellington and believe it can thrive. With experience supporting not-for-profits and running my own design business, I know how to deliver meaningful results with limited resources. I will bring practical skills, fresh ideas, and a commitment to listening and transparency, so Wellington becomes safer, affordable and vibrant.

About me

I am prepared to think outside the box and make innovative suggestions. Then I will listen, adapt when needed and collaborate to get better outcomes for Wellington. My experience supporting not-for-profits and my own design business means I have practical skills suited for office.

My priorities
  1. Get control of council spending to reduce the burden on rates.
  2. Prioritise maintenance of existing council assets and infrastructure.
  3. Get pride back in the city through cleaner and safer streets.
