Support Enterprise North Canterbury, Mayor's Taskforce for Jobs and others who are improving the local economy and helping job seekers.
Continue to make Waimakariri District an attractive and profitable place to establish a business.
Encourage more people to move to the district to boost the economy. Sustainably accommodate 14,000–17,000 new homes into the future.
Support the work of Rangiora Promotions and ENC in promoting the town and district.
Encourage youth participation in the development of the town centre.
Support the development of the Rangiora Library and civic precinct as already too small for the population.
Promote Rangiora as a tourist destination utilising the existing rail network.
Promote policies that reduce local unemployment.
Promote building necessary infrastructure in a timely and efficient manner.
Make policies that assist private businesses to create amenities required by all local people, ie 24 hour medical centre.
