Why I'm standing
I provide a strong voice for the Shore, with the business knowledge and decision-making experience to manage rate dollars wisely and in a focused manner that gets results. Governance isn't just about meetings and budgets; to me it is about making real life better for real people. I listen first, ask questions to find the facts, then act. Every decision I make starts with 'How does this help the people I serve?'.
About me
I have served the North Shore on the Kaipatiki Local Board for the last 12 years. I also serve on the boards of Westlake Boys High School, North Harbour Rugby and NH Gymnastics. My connections to the community are deep and far reaching. I understand local needs and actively engage with all of the community to continually understand what is important and to encourage and support growth and prosperity.
My priorities
- Speed up infrastructure, including drinking water, waste and flood management investment into the North Shore.
- Increase sport and recreation investment focused on youth wellbeing and greater local employment.
- Support Mayor Wayne Brown – fix Auckland, stop wasting money, care for the environment and manage Auckland Transport.
