Restore wetlands, streams and native bush for biodiversity and natural flood protection and plant more trees in urban and rural areas.
Protect fertile soils from overdevelopment and retain them for growing food.
Protect water quality and preservation as already in long term plan.
Grow and protect biodiversity and pest control.
Minimise and manage waste, bring transfer station back in house, and seriously rethink recycling, reducing and reusing.
Launch a new Compost First campaign for interested locals and schools to minimise waste.
Advocate for a strong local voice in the governance model of the water services organisation to ensure fair cost allocation.
Ensure future water supply needs are met by progressing the new water reservoir as budgeted.
Support faster action on the water quality improvements of Lake Horowhenua.
