Why I'm standing
I'm running for Mayor of Dunedin because it's time for bold, people-first leadership. Dunedin has incredible potential—our environment, education, and business sectors are real strengths. But right now, we're falling short. Residents are frustrated by the lack of clear vision, direction and action. It's time for a new, common-sense approach that focuses on priorities, delivers real results, and ensures Dunedin becomes the best place to live in New Zealand. It's time for change in ambition.
About me
I'd make a good Mayor of Dunedin because I'm passionate about our city and committed to its future. With six years experience on council, I understand how local government works and how to get things done. I listen, collaborate, and act with integrity. I believe in practical solutions, strong leadership, and putting people first. I want Dunedin to thrive—economically, socially, and environmentally—and I have the vision and dedication to lead us forward together.
My priorities
- Fight for our southern hospital by keeping strong pressure on Government to build as promised.
- Raise Dunedin's profile to become a magnet for talent, investment and innovation to make us prosper.
- Save money on rates by transforming council processes to deliver better value and better results.
